STEADFAST HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION incorporated as a non-profit entity in 1989 and combined experts in housing and mental health services to provide a community housing program for adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Our main office is located on Oahu at 888 Iwilei Road. We are actively recruiting for a position within our group homes program on Hawaii island. See below.
There are no fringe benefits available for PT positions.
What do you have to do?
Show up for work. Work in a self-directed setting within a group home to teach and assist adults with mental illness in learning basic life skills to prepare them for independent living e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene to name a few. Provide maintenance of a single-family home and property. Shifts are 8 hours/day (10am-7pm) and may float more than one group home. Refer to the vacancy list below.
What do you need to qualify for the job?
o High School diploma or GED
o Valid Hawaii Driver's License
o Clean driving abstract with no more than 3 violations within the last 3 years.
o Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Life Skills Specialist: Semi-Independent Group Home
- Hourly rate is $16.00
- Part-Time: Naalehu on Sundays and Saturdays (10am-7pm)
- Part-Time: Honokaa on Sundays and Saturdays (10am-7pm)
