Social worker needed for part time position on evenings and Saturday at a 29 unit justice involved women’s apartment building.
Job Summary:
Social worker must complete a needs assessment and life enhancement plan with each new resident, and act as liaison with the referring agency and community organizations for referrals and service coordination. Social Worker will provide referrals for services, and ongoing case management. Must be able to work collaboratively with Property Manager.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Social Work preferred or BSW and relevant experience.
2. Knowledgeable of community resources, including mental health, parenting, job training, substance abuse treatment and support groups, and Hawaiian and other Asian and Pacific Islander cultural resources that support successful community integration and resilience.
3. Able to work under stressful conditions, and act with courtesy and tact.
4. Ability to respond to crises situations in a calm and effective manner.
5. Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects in an organized and efficient manner.
6. Ability to complete tasks on schedule.
7. Excellent communication skills required.
8. Applicant must provide at least 2 professional references.
Starting Salary is $40/hour. Must pass background check and drug test.
