The Therapist I provides intensive home-based services for families referred by DHS in which issues of child abuse/imminent harm have been identified. The Therapist I provides face-to-face intervention using a prescribed model and is available to families 24 hours a day, seven days per week. The Therapist I provides 40 or more hours of face to face contact during the typical 4 week intervention and meets with family members three to five times a week in the family’s natural environment. The Therapist must demonstrate an active commitment to Catholic Charities Mission and strive to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.
EDUCATIONAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS: Must have a MSW or Master’s Degree in a related human services or counseling field from an accredited school, and, at least two (2) years experience working with children and families.
EMPLOYMENT CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: TB Clearance, CAN Clearance, Hawaii State Criminal Check, Hawaii/National Sex Offender Clearance, Driver’s License, Driver’s Abstract, Access to Vehicle with Current Valid Registration, Safety Check, and No-Fault Insurance, Education Verification
COMPENSATION: $59,990.99 - $68,653.52
