We are an established Contracting Company seeking an experienced full time Bookkeeper with the following skill set/attributes to join our team:
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks and MS Office applications
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Strong analytical skills to perform account analysis and reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to communicate with clients, staff and management
Experience:
-Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including complex invoicing and payment processing
- Perform account analysis and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Process payroll via payroll processing company
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare financial reports for management review
