FOOD SAFETY ASSISTANT
Schedule: Full time, 40+ hours
Starting Pay range: $22 - $24 an hour
Qualifications:
> Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & Publisher).
> MUST BE detail oriented and possess good organizational and problem-solving skills.
> Ability to work well with others.
> Valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities & Duties:
> Receive, review, input, and file food safety logs (DAILY, Weekly, and Monthly) and documents.
> Assist with preparation for any and all food safety audits and inspections.
>Assist in preparation of Employee Safety training. (OSHA & Food Safety)
> Help develop, maintain, enforce, and update all records, manuals, trainings, and procedures (SOPs & SSOPs) as they pertain to food safety, quality control, HACCP and GMP Policies.
> Report and assist with correcting any food safety violations and/or non-compliance in all aspects of operations.
> Monitor schedule of microbial testing program and assist with sample collections .
