What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our team, you’ll be the bridge between our organization and the communities we serve. Your focus will be to strengthen our public presence, foster transparent communication, and advocate for our development projects.

Core Responsibilities:

Community Engagement

Design and execute outreach strategies that build trust and gather community input around current and future development initiatives.

Public Relations

Craft press releases, media statements, and project summaries. Serve as the company’s spokesperson to ensure consistent and effective messaging across platforms.

Government Affairs

Represent the company in meetings with local government agencies and planning boards. Monitor policy developments and advocate for initiatives that align with our mission.

Technical Communication

Translate complex planning or engineering details into clear, audience-friendly content for the public, media, and stakeholders.

Conflict Resolution

Address public concerns with empathy and professionalism. Facilitate solutions that support mutual understanding between the company and the community.

Event Coordination

Organize and lead public meetings, open houses, and informational sessions that promote transparency and community education.

Data & Reporting

Track engagement efforts, analyze public feedback, and share key insights with internal teams to guide future planning.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Urban Planning, Political Science, or a related field

3–5 years of experience in community engagement, public affairs, or real estate development communication

Familiarity with zoning, permitting, and local government processes

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to tailor messages across audiences

Confidence in facilitating public meetings and engaging with diverse stakeholders

Strong organizational and multitasking skills; adept with tools like Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, or Asana

Ability to synthesize technical data and convey it in a clear, accessible way
