Available starting NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2025

Part-Time(25 hours per week to start)

Pay: $30-$33 an hour with room for advancement

Salary with benefits, including: medical, dental, PTO, 401K, snacks

Position Summary

The Office Assistant position is an integral part of our Common Ground team. Responsible for the organization and coordination of the office, this position also includes the important task of assisting the Assistant Director of Operations (ADO) with special projects and basic administrative tasks.

Office Assistant

Reports to Assistant Director of Operations and includes tasks but are not limited to:

● Responsible for all administrative tasks including supply management,

subscriptions, mail organization and management of company files unrelated

to company finances.

● Assists with tracking and set up of company tech, onboarding new employees

with company email and other communication accounts.

● Assists with the coordination of the Office Custodian regarding supply lists and weekly

schedule

● May be asked to assist with meeting minutes/notes at weekly team meetings

● Answers office phone, forwards messages for team members

● Assists with reservations, cancelations, and rebooking in Fareharbor

Other Responsibilities

● Acts as a knowledgeable and collaborative representative of Common Ground

in the community

● Collaborates with other staff members to ensure effective outcomes

● Performs other tasks as assigned

Position Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree preferred

● 3+ years experience in related position

● Excellent customer service and attention to detail

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Exercise discretion when managing sensitive, confidential material

● Project management experience

● Excellent computer skills and familiarity operating on various platforms (i.e.

Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Monday)

● Experience with or willingness to learn Fareharbor - Online Booking Software as well as POS (Toast & Clover)

● Comfortable working in a startup environment

● Works under regular office conditions. Primary residence must be on Kaua’i

● General office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm with

flexible hours as needed

● Ability to operate general office equipment including computer, copier,

printers, etc.

● Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, up to 25 lbs. of general office material or

equipment

● Valid driver's license
