A family-owned specialty construction firm based in Hawaii, is seeking a Parts Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient parts sales operations, including customer support, order processing, and coordination with vendors. Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status.
Process customer parts orders:
o Locate, pull, pack, and ship parts to customers.
o Issue purchase orders (POs) to vendors and confirm orders via email acknowledgment.
o Receive and process incoming shipments, including drop shipments.
o Inspect incoming parts for any damage or discrepancies.
Produce invoices for customers.
Obtain pricing for shipping costs and communicate with customers as needed.
Provide support to service technicians with parts orders and inventory needs.
Act as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests.
Answer all incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate internal contacts.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work hours:
7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday through Friday)
Equipment Used
Computer (Email, Internet search engines), 10 key calculator, credit card processing machine, copier. (Company uses software: Microsoft 365, Sage 100 ERP. We will train/teach.)
