Island Slipper has manufactured fashion forward slippers in Hawaii since 1946. We also retail Island Slipper footwear in two retail locations at Ala Moana Center and Royal Hawaiian Center.
We are looking for an energetic sales professional with great eye contact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude who understands how to engage people in conversation. The ideal candidate is a strong team-player and can communicate sales information to local customers and Asian tourist customers, primarily Japanese.
Basic computer skills are required.
Required:
6+ months retail sales
Desired:
able to speak one or more of the following languages:
Japanese, Chinese and/or Korean.
Education Level
High School or equivalent
Competitive wage rate plus sales commission and goal incentive
Part time and full time positions available
Top priority will be given to the candidate
for supervisor or associate with availability during all store hours
for supervisor available from 2:30pm - 10:30pm, any day of the week
for associate available from 11:00am - 7:00 pm on weekends
for associate available from 12:00pm - 8:00 pm on weekends
for associate available on Tuesday from 2:00pm - 10:00pm
