We are currently seeking a Assistant Store Manager to join our Retail Store team on Kauai in Kapaa, HI.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be a vital part of a fast-paced environment. You will assist with running a store location and helping the store achieve top sales and profit performance.
⢠Store hours are Mon-Fri 6:30am-4pm and Saturday 8am-noon.
⢠Salary range of $35-45,000/year, based upon experience and qualifications.
⢠Very competitive benefits package, including Bonus Plan
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Store Manager role include:
⢠Ensuring that service standards are maintained and customer issues are quickly and efficiently resolved
⢠Maintaining an understanding of local market, operations-based selling, and customer base
⢠Achieving sales and profit plan by controlling expenses, inventory, shrinkage, and growing net contribution
⢠Ensuring that the appearance of the storeâs exterior and interior, including merchandizing displays, are maintained to required standards
Qualifications
Candidates must be high energy, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to learn quickly. You must have a customer-centric attitude and enjoy interacting with different types of people and personalities.
⢠2 to 4 years of retail store experience
⢠High school diploma or equivalent certification
⢠Strong customer service skills
⢠Ability to attend to details while engaging in work of a repetitive nature
⢠Ability to work flexible shifts and hours
⢠Must possess a valid driver's license
⢠Ability to lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds routinely
⢠Must pass a hair drug/toxins test and a background check
