Seeking customer service-oriented Supervisor at the Battleship Missouri Memorial gift-shop. Part Time position

Minimum one-year in a leadership role- $20.50. Must be available to work at least one weekend day, Military Holidays, and occasional night shifts (primarily day shift position). All Candidates must be able to pass background check, required to receive employee access on to Ford Island from Joint Base Pearl Harbor.

Here you will develop a genuine respect for our military's honor, duty and sacrifice and share with our guests, so they take home a piece of the history. Everything we sell helps to support the ship!

At the Battleshop we are the brand ambassadors for the Mighty Mo, our duty is to uphold the USS Missouri in its highest regards while providing EXTRAordinary experiences for all our guests:

Must be energetic, reliable, punctual, dependable, & trustworthy

Available to work weekends, Military holidays and occasional night shifts (primarily day shift position)

Flexible and adaptable to changing routines, priorities and job conditions

Effective problem solver; able to prioritize and manage heavy work flow without direct supervision, fast-paced

environment

Provides excellent customer service with genuine Aloha spirit

Works cooperatively with all levels of staff, client and vendors whom are from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Able to stand for long periods of time, lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and climb up/down ladders.

Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, email and internet.

Able to communicate through email, as well as file and organize paperwork.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Daily retail store operations (opening/closing)

Oversee sales floor with the ability to coach, motivate staff to drive sales with clear focus and maximum output.

Efficiently implement directives from upper management and corporate office.

Receive and process incoming merchandise, as well as organize and stock sales floor with necessary products to achieve maximum sales.

Assist in sales staff training and team building.
