Cashier
Full time and part time
Cashiers are responsible for processing cash, debit, and credit transactions at the point-of-sale system. Cashiers must be able to count cash and coin, provide change quickly and accurately, bag groceries, and assist Customers. Cashiers must possess an interest in health with an emphasis on natural and organic foods, an ability to work well under pressure, outstanding customer service, and a basic understanding of computers.
Custodian
The Custodian ensures the store’s cleanliness is maintained on a consistent basis, throughout each day, during business hours and after closing. The Custodian will ensure the store is free of common safety hazards such as wet floors, trip stacks, piles of dirt created while sweeping and report any potential safety hazards to the Manager On Duty and Store Manager. The following job duties must be met by working a shift that overlaps with the store closing. A Custodian may be expected to obtain extensive knowledge of Natural Foods and some basic knowledge of Nutritional Supplements including vitamins, herbs, amino acids, sports nutrition, food supplements, and health and beauty aids.
Deli Clerk
Deli Clerks are responsible for making sandwiches, juices, and smoothies according to instruction cards and customer requests. Deli Clerks will ensure that food quality standards are being upheld for all Deli products. Deli Front-End Clerks will help to promote an outstanding food company appearance by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
Market Clerk
A Market Clerk is responsible for supporting all Market Department operations by maintaining a clean work environment and organized, merchandised food displays. A Market Clerks duties include obtaining or receiving and stocking merchandise, assisting the Market Manager with placing orders, and providing outstanding customer service to all Guests. A Market Clerk may be expected to obtain extensive knowledge of Natural Foods and some basic knowledge of Nutritional Supplements including vitamins, herbs, amino acids, sports nutrition, food supplements, and health and beauty aids.
Market Manager
The Market Manager is responsible for properly ordering and receiving shipment that is delivered to their location, per the Receiving Procedure, ensuring inventory within their department is accurate. The Market Manager supervises and coordinates activities of Team Members in Market Department, which consists of grocery and perishables items. The Market Manager is responsible for additional tasks such as stocking, facing, inventory maintenance, providing exceptional customer service, processing special orders, and maintaining the overall appearance and integrity of the Market Department. The Market Manager creates and maintains department displays, ensures all pricing is accurate by placing the correct shelf tags and sale signs throughout the department, and shares their knowledge of monthly AD’s and sales in the Market Department with customers. The Market Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of Team Members in Market Department and providing a high level of outstanding customer service by giving prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to all Guests. A Market Manager may be expected to obtain extensive knowledge of Natural Foods and some basic knowledge of Nutritional Supplements including vitamins, herbs, amino acids, sports nutrition, food supplements, and health and beauty aids.
Wellness Associate
A Wellness Associate will be responsible for providing a high level of outstanding customer service by giving prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to all Guests in the Wellness Department. A Wellness Associate may assist the Wellness Manager with placing orders, obtaining or receiving merchandise, and direct customers to the location of products throughout the department. A Wellness Associate will create and maintain department displays, ensure all pricing is accurate by placing the correct shelf tags and sale signs throughout the department, and share their knowledge of the monthly AD’s and sales in the Wellness Department with customers. A Wellness Associate will use their knowledge of vitamins, supplements and cosmetic items to answer questions and educate customers within the proper legal parameters.
