We are a small family owned Polynesian/Hawaiiana gift shop in Haleiwa and we strive to foster long term relationships with all of our employees. We specializing in handmade arts, crafts and gift items and we are seeking to fill a long term Part-Time position.
Previous retail experience with selling skills and some knowledge of Polynesian culture including arts and crafts and Hawaiiana desired.
Ideal candidate should be a real "people person" with a pleasant personality "aloha spirit" and be able to work alone and with others in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a professional, neat appearance are required.
Ideal person needs to be goal oriented and know how to up-sell, offer product information and do it in a way that the customer feels they received the best customer service ever in a relaxed yet direct way.
Our work shifts are from 10am to 6pm and includes some weekends and holidays. There are no night shifts.
All hires require 30 - 45 days paid probationary/training period and after successful completion of this period sales commission will start and as available a FT position may be offered
HOURLY + COMMISSION + BONUSES + BENEFITS
$16 -20/hr. after probationary period.

Opportunities may be available in the near future for promotion to Assistant Manager.

Hiring bonus will be paid according to the terms and conditions of the company’s hiring bonus program. Bonus payments are subject to any/all applicable taxes. The hiring bonus will be paid in installments based upon duration of continued employment.
