ENPRO Environmental is seeking Experienced Environmental Professionals to support our Phase I, Phase II, Phase III, and construction oversight work. We are seeking individuals with applied field knowledge of the implementation of DOH guidance documents as well as individuals with strong Project Management skills related to such projects.

Project Manager:

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the environmental consulting profession, preferably in Hawaii. Candidates that meet the criteria of a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) as defined by the State of Hawaii Department of Health will receive priority. Project managers are expected to participate in field activities as needed in addition to report writing and QC review, scheduling, client communication, and management of project teams. Project managers are responsible for project schedule, project budget, and client satisfaction relative to their projects. Some travel is required. Successful candidates may be requested to perform extended neighbor island assignments.

Field Technician:

Candidates will have direct experience with environmental field work related to soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling and analysis. Candidates with DOH certifications will receive priority consideration and increased compensation. The successful candidate will perform field sampling, documentation, monitoring and reporting on a variety of projects located on Oahu and throughout the State of Hawaii. Typical projects include soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigation; oversight for remediation and construction activities; and mold, water damage, asbestos and/or lead paint assessments. Some travel is required. Successful candidates may be requested to perform extended neighbor island assignments.

Employment Status:

We are seeking to fill full time employee positions. Hybrid work from home/in office status available after successful completion of on-boarding.

Work Schedule:

Full time employment may include evening and weekend assignments, as well as extended assignments to the neighbor islands.

Compensation:

All openings are for professional salaried positions with FULL medical, dental, PTO, recognized holidays, professional training, flexible work schedule, 401k benefits.

Minimum Requirements:

Four-year college degree in physical, biological, geological or related science.

One or more years of successful environmental work experience (field tech position only).

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated.

Ability to communicate clearly, read and write in English.

Detail oriented with excellent written communication skills.

Computer and technology efficient.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Ability to take control of and be accountable for assigned work.

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of clients.

Ability to work outside for 8 hour shifts as required by project and client needs.

Ability to load and unload project equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)

Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test, and have clean driving record.

Must have dependable personal transportation and Hawaii Driver's License.

Strong work ethic and unquestionable integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

State of Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) Certifications in asbestos and lead (inspector, project monitor, risk assessor, project designer, etc.).

Knowledge of and successful experience working with the DOH Technical Guidance Manual (TGM).

Successful experience with Phase I/Phase II Environmental Assessments and/or preparation and implementation of Environmental Hazard Evaluation/Environmental Hazard Management Plan (EHE/EHMP), Construction EHMP.

Ability to perform as a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP).

Experience designing, managing, and documenting remediation projects (soil, groundwater, asbestos, mold, lead, other waste).

Other professional environmental or related experience (EA/EIS, ESCP certification, civil engineering, SWPC, etc.)
