Merchandising is a fun and busy position for individuals who have retail experience or have a natural talent to ensure products on store shelves are presentable to consumers. We would like to hire you as a Sales Merchandiser to oversee merchandising at stores on the Island of Kauai. We service various chain accounts such as ABC Stores, Foodland, Times Supermarkets, as well as smaller retail gift outlets.
We are a locally owned and operated distribution company doing business in Hawaii for over 30 years. We supply retail stores with thousands of great products, and you'll have the chance to represent a diverse range of national and local brands, including Oberto beef jerky, Energizer batteries and Locals slippers.
Requirements:
Individuals must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Pass all pre-employment testing (including drug and background checks).
Have your own personal vehicle, legally registered.
Have a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
Responsibilities:
Multitasking with attention to details to complete your daily duties.
Be physically fit and capable of lifting boxes up to 50 lbs.
Standing and stooping is also essential to your daily activities.
Place products on the shelves.
Assist in modular reset for all our products in each store.
Process and write claims for damages.
Good communication with each store personnel to maintain a good relationship.
