Salesperson (Tile, Stone and Countertops)
Join our second generation family owned business that has been serving Maui for over 48 years. We are seeking a new Salesperson to join our 30 member employee team. The successful candidate for this position will work with retail and key trade industry clients (builders, designers, remodeling business, etc.).
Specific Responsibilities:
Meet one on one with clients to assess what the scope of their project is and help suggest appropriate materials within client budgets and lead times.
Assist clients in selecting stone, tile, countertop materials and related products for their projects.
Over time, demonstrate product knowledge of in stock and special order materials.
Perform regular transactions including, providing quotes for clients in a timely manner and excellent follow up with your clients.
Establish rapport and develop long-term business relationships with clients
Meet / exceed monthly sales goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
Prior sales experience desired
Must work well in a team environment
High School Diploma required
Quick Books experience desired but not required
Strong communication and follow up skills required
Ability to multi-task and anticipate client's needs
Problem solving skills a must
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
This full time position works Tuesday - Saturday.
Weekdays 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Saturdays 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour plus Full Benefits Package.
