Skills & Abilities
- Experience in performing Lomi Lomi, Deep/Sports Massage, Relaxation Massage, Prenatal, Reflexology and Hot Stone (Pohaku) Massage. Listening to guests needs and following their requests.
- Has a genuine interest in the well-being of others around you and believes in the healing benefits of massage.
- 2+ Years’ experience in Professional Spa settings.
- Creates a memorable spa experience through excellent Spa Treatments fitted to the guest needs.
- Inquire guest needs and contraindications (allergies, high blood pressure and pregnancy), prior to treatment.
- Following through and anticipating guests’ needs and requests.
- Ability to manage entire Day Spa setting alone. Taking payments after each Spa Treatment. Being helpful with clear communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Promote and sell other spa services.
- Knowledge of and assisting in Cleaning Protocols, Maintaining strict safety guidelines and cleanliness of treatment room and spa entrance throughout your shift, handling of dirty linens and towels, sterilizing everything that was touched after each use.
- Secure Day Spa prior to leaving. (See specific guidelines for details on proper set up)
Point of Sales computer experience.
Licenses and Preferences:
- MAT License up to date and GET License (Required)
- Must live on the West Side of Maui and preferably female
