Position Overview:
As an Arborist Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced arborists while gaining practical skills in tree care, maintenance, and management. This is an excellent opportunity to start a rewarding career in a growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal under the guidance of certified arborists.
- Learn to identify tree species, diseases, and pests.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in safety training and adhere to company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in arboriculture and environmental sciences.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain one) is preferred.
