Title: Boiler Operator

Pay Rate: $20 - $30 an hour
Type: Full Time
Job Overview:
As a Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining boiler systems in a nut processing facility. This is a crucial role that ensures the safety and efficiency of our operations. Preference is to candidates that have actual Boiler Operator experience, however, if you have similar mechanical skills or experience, we will still consider your application.
Duties:
- Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on boilers
- Monitor gauges, meters, and controls to ensure optimal performance
- Adjust controls and valves as needed to maintain desired operating conditions
- Troubleshoot and repair boiler malfunctions or breakdowns
- Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Boiler Operator, similar role, or willing to learn with mechanical knowledge.
- Knowledge of boiler operations, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong skills for interacting with other team members
