We’re looking for a dependable Building & Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain our warehouses, offices, and equipment in top condition.
Position Overview
The Building & Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our facilities, including our warehouse, distribution center, and administrative offices. This hands-on position involves a wide variety of maintenance and repair work to ensure smooth operations across all departments.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural)
Troubleshoot and fix equipment, mechanical, or facility issues quickly and safely
Perform welding, painting, woodworking, and light construction work as needed
Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules
Ensure compliance with all safety and building regulations
Maintain accurate logs of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
Monitor and manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies
Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies or breakdowns
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and electrical systems, welding, wiring, painting, flooring installation and repair
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Able to work independently or with a team
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Reliable transportation (nearest bus stop is about a 25-minute walk from our facility)
