Job Summary: Construction Laborer
General Contractor
HPG. LLC is looking to hire a full-time person(s) Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5PM, applicants must have a good work ethic, great attitude, be able to follow instructions and work while unsupervised. If you consider yourself to be a self-starter, reliable, enthusiastic, trustworthy, positive, professional with integrity and are looking for full-time work in a healthy environment.
If you are in good physical condition and can sustain long periods of standing, bending, and lifting, this entry level position is your opportunity into the construction industry.
You must be able to work full time and lift up to 60 pounds in daily Hawaii weather conditions.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Install firestop
- Always maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Drive vehicles, shuttle employees, pick-up and deliver material or documents to job sites.
- Clean, wash and prep equipment.
- Organize and clean the warehouse and inventory.
- Dig trenches, move, and haul material.
- Practice and learn safety procedures.
- Must have a good eye for details.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Able to lift a minimum 60 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Ability to follow-through,
- Must be courteous, cooperative, a team player and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be punctual and have regular and reliable attendance.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
- Knowledge of proper equipment and chemical usage.
- Must have a smartphone.
