Job Description:
As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for the installation of various types of tile, including ceramic, porcelain, glass, and natural stone, in high-end residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with designers, architects, and clients to ensure that every project meets our high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to ensure a precise fit.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including leveling and cleaning.
- Mix and apply adhesives, grout, and sealants.
- Install tiles in intricate patterns, ensuring alignment and spacing.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the installation process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on job sites.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a tile setter, preferably in high-end residential or commercial projects.
- Proficient in installing various types of tile, including intricate layouts and designs.
- Strong understanding of tile setting techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
