Small business looking to hire an experienced aluminum welder for ongoing projects. Must be familiar with Miller push-pull MIG welding equipment as well as aluminum TIG welding. All equipment will be provided except for personal welder PPE (gloves, weld hood, face mask etc.). The company will not provide weld training.
The applicant must have the following skills;
Read blueprints/ shop drawings.
Safely use power tools (drills, grinders, saws).
Ability to weld in all positions: Flat, vertical, overhead.
Able to layout large (long) assemblies and keep within tolerances.
Experience operating forklift.
Works well with others in the team.
Must respond with photos of previous work.
Terms for this contract will be on a per job with the potential for more ongoing work. Pay depends on experience.
