Job description
Essential Duties:
- Measure and mark out cutting lines on material
- Verify accuracy of each structure
- Install studs to frames to attach wallboards
- Assemble and fasten hardware and/or materials to complete framework
- Ensure you are able to cut and shape materials to specific measurements
- Read and understand blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare for your project
- Cut openings for electrical outlets and fixtures with precision
- Install framing and trim for windows, doors, etc
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Loading and unloading of material
- Ensure safety rules, company policies, OSHA laws, and Federal/State laws are being obeyed
- Ensure projects and tasks are completed by deadlines given by supervisor
- Clean and tidy construction site everyday before departing
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by manager
Education:
-This position requires some high school education and 2-3 years of previous experience.
- A high school diploma (or GED or high school equivalence certificate) is preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
Regularly required to stand, walk, used hands and fingers, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, crawl, talk, and listen
Regularly, frequently, occasionally lift and/or move 25-100 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
