Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment using proper techniques
Transfer, load, spread and/or compact in a productive and safe manner
Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Continuously monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and minimal down time
Report necessary repairs to supervisor
MUST be able to work a minimum of 40 hours a week
Requirements:
High school graduate/GED
Previous experience necessary
Equipment Operator's certification preferred, but not necessary
Possess a valid driver license
Have strong operational skills
Must be safety oriented
Able to lift 30 lbs
Must be able to understand and carry out instructions
Must be able to work independently
Must be a team player
Must be able to speak and write English
Be willing to work on weekends
Must have reliable transportation
Pass pre-employment drug test
