ABOUT US

At CEI Hawaii, we're a kamaaina company serving the state of Hawaii for over 30 years. CEI specializes in Contract-commercial Furnishings (ceihawaii.com), and Design-build Prefabricated Interior Wall systems (Falkbuilt.com). We’re looking to hire motivated and mechanically minded Installation Technicians to join our field team, based in Kakaako.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Install and Assemble Commercial Grade Furniture and Pre-fabricated Interior Walls: From delivery to installation and warranty repairs, you’ll handle it all with precision and technical quality.

Support Operations: Help with receiving shipments, checking for quality, logging and documenting pictures taking any damaged items, and preparing products for projects.

Drive & Operate Equipment: Able or willing to drive a flatbed truck, forklift and operate a pallet jack. Current driver's license required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role or relevant experience.

Attitude: Positive, professional, and always ready to provide top-notch service to our customers and other trades. Individuals looking for a career, not just a “job” that want to learn and grow their skills and knowledge through hands-on field experience.

Skills: Able and willing to learning new skills and techniques. Proficient with drills, bits, hand tools and problem-solving in the field.

Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and handling physically demanding tasks.

Dependability: Mature, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Security Clearance: Must be able to pass background checks, security checks and drug tests

Flexibility: Highly adaptable and able to prioritize tasks under deadlines.

Tool Kit: Have your own set of essential tools including hammer drill & bits, impact driver & bits, torpedo level, wrench, and mallet are the basics.

EDUCATION AND LICENSING

Education: Min. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Driver’s License: Must have a current driver’s license and be willing to drive a flatbed truck.

Certification: Forklift certification preferred, but we can help you get certified if needed.
