We are looking for Team Members who will be part of our growing Ohana at Alii Linen Lahaina Plant.
A Journeyman Technician will perform maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations. The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety.
Employees typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following:
Responsibly follow all procedures & policies regarding repairs & maintenance.
Responsible to complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner.
Works in conjunction with operations to keep equipment operating at a high level of efficiency.
Ability to trouble shoot any mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems
Problem solving - Having the ability to identify problems and issues of varying complexities and to find effective solutions with few guidelines.
Attention to Detail - Taking responsibility for a thorough and detailed method of working.
Initiative - Spotting opportunities within a circle of influence; anticipating threats and acting on them; self-starting rather than waiting passively until e situation demands activities.
Ability to effectively complete mechanical or electrical tasks in an industrial environment.
Must exhibit self-initiative, accountability, flexibility
Physical / Mental Requirements:
Position is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Position is regularly required to walk, sit, climb, or balance, talk, and hear.
Position is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to climb 2 flights stairs
