Location: Princess Kaiulani Hotel, Honolulu, HI
Pay Range: $31.69 to $39.61 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Respond to and attend to guest repair requests. Effectively communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen/mechanical room equipment.
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines and maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Display basic knowledge in areas such as air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and more.
Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and cleanup.
Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on various equipment and systems.
Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping and sprinklers.
Physical Requirements:
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and ladders.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Additional Responsibilities:
Follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Technician include:
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
Driver’s License.
Experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, painting, and hotel engineering or maintenance preferred.
