Job Description: We are looking for a problem solver who is self-motivated and has experience in boat mechanics to join our team as a Maintenance Technician I. As a Maintenance Technician I, your primary responsibility will be to perform routine and corrective maintenance necessary for our vessels' safe and efficient operation. You will also assist all areas of the maintenance department and be proactive with maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. General maintenance includes repairs, cleaning, and managing supplies.

Responsibilities:

Assist with major and specialized mechanical overhauls, including diesel engines, marine gear, and control systems.

Perform basic, unsupervised services on inboard diesel engines.

Diagnose, repair, and replace marine plumbing, head systems, electronics, and fuel systems

Maintain support equipment such as trailers, trucks, and dock equipment

Maintain vessel topside equipment in operationally ready status.

Conduct vessel checks prior to tours and ensure they are in a safe, operationally ready status for trip departure.

Maintain accurate vessel maintenance records.

Comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping and safety of work areas.

Assist with general maintenance, projects, and repairs on the vessel, shop, or office

Clean, organize, and maintain the shop area.

Maintain tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and safe condition

Requirements:

Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends & holidays.

Ability to work 35-40 hours per week, with overtime approval from the supervisor or manager.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with the provision of a driver's abstract for any out-of-state driver's license upon hire.

Proficiency in English, with the ability to effectively communicate and understand verbal and written communications.

Must be continuously contactable and have access to a cell phone.

General skill set and specialized knowledge of mechanical systems preferred.

Diesel mechanic experience is preferred but not required.
