Seeking an Experienced Gardener/Master Gardener/Landscape Specialist for a Large Private Estate
This individual will join an experienced six (6) person landscape team dedicated to the continued development of a large private garden estate encompassing multiple water features, tennis courts, walled gardens, large lawn panels, and manicured planters and decorative hedges.
This position requires an individual with substantial experience in the maintenance and care of beautiful private gardens. An understanding of various plant materials, plant types, and the appropriate soils for various gardens. Experience should also include landscape knowledge about transplantation, use of fertilizers, and the acquisition/purchasing of flowering and potted plants, including an understanding of trimming, pruning and overall garden restoration.
This position reports to the Landscape Manager. We are seeking a person who can work independently but be supported by a (6) person team that will do all the landscape duties while the Experienced Gardener focus on creating and sustaining beautiful gardens at one of Hawaii's largest Private Estates.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years directly related/hands-on gardening/landscaping experience
Experience in landscape tools and equipment
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have reliable transportation
Compensation:
$23/hr. - $25/hr.
Full Time (40 hours per week)
Tuesday thru Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
