We are looking for an experienced Master Heavy Equipment Mechanic for immediate hire in Campbell Industrial Park in Kapolei. Our company specializes in foundation drilling and we own and maintain heavy equipment for our projects.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Repair and regular maintenance of heavy duty drilling equipment, shop equipment and vehicles which include: drill rigs (Bauer, Casagrande, Watson), large cranes (Link-Belt, National), tractor trucks (Kenworth, International, Peterbilt), company vehicles, shop equipment (forklifts, manlift, etc).
Contacting manufacturers and suppliers when necessary for advice to resolve a repair issue.
Ordering parts/supplies as needed.
Assisting with equipment logistics to and from construction job sites.
Travel to project sites to trouble shoot equipment repairs.
Keeping safety checks current for company vehicles/equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience with repair and maintenance of heavy equipment, shop equipment and vehicles.
Tenacity and sense of urgency to get the job done.
Good problem solving skills.
Ability to work with others and independently. May involve contacting manufacturer or supplier to resolve the repair.
Valid driver's license.
Safety conscience employee.
Welding experience is a plus.
Electronic communication and ability to use a computer is a plus.
This is a full-time position, generally Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm but you must be willing to occasionally flex days and hours when the current project/job requires it.
