We are seeking an Operations/Purchasing Manager to maintain construction and cabinet shop inventory, scheduling, purchasing, equipment, vehicle maintenance schedules, etc. This person will provide leadership, instruction, and organization to our team of field and shop managers. This person will organize their team's daily tasks and work schedules, keep accurate inventory records, perform manual labor tasks, and support worksite operations while being a positive leader through exceptional work performance. This manager must also follow company policies and ensure team members adhere to all company standards and guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate, delegate, oversee team performance, and communicate with team members, project managers, and job site supervisors.
o Relay information from management to your team.
o Assign duties to your team and set team goals.
o Address your team's concerns with management.
Ability to follow instructions from managers and supervisors.
Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory shipments, verifying quantities, quality, and condition of goods received against purchase orders or packing slips.
Update inventory databases or spreadsheets to reflect inventory transactions, adjustments, and movements, maintaining up-to-date and accurate inventory records.
Oversee, schedule, and assist with job site cleaning and protection of products on construction sites.
Monitor and maintain the organization of inventory.
Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile physical inventory counts with inventory records, investigate discrepancies, and resolve inventory variances.
Oversee proper protection, packaging, and handling of products is maintained.
Research and coordinate with field and shop managers to place orders for replenishment stock, ensuring timely delivery and availability of inventory items.
Maintain company vehicles, shops, and warehouses, both interior and exterior.
Coordinate and Schedule deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment of all orders.
Oversee and assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment, & proper documentation.
Assist and oversee scaffolding erection, supply of proper ladders, tooling, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Knowledge of construction work sites.
Clean driving record, with current driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Adobe is a plus).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Great work ethic, which includes being punctual, detailed, organized, & reliable.
Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment & independently.
Able to lift 75 lbs when required to assist with loading and unloading.
Positive attitude in a team setting.
Forklift qualification is a plus.

This is a full-time position with early morning hours starting at 7 am – 3:30 pm M - F.
