Job description:
Electrician apprentices must possess physical and mental aptitude to safely perform or learn to safely perform essential functions of the job either with or without reasonable accommodations. Able to get to and from work at job sites anywhere within Oahu. Able to climb and work from ladders, scaffolds of various working heights. Able to crawl and work in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces. Able to read, hear and understand instructions/ basic math knowledge and warnings from supervisors and clients.
Dexterity:
The physical demands require excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Apprentice must be comfortable using tools and components with safety and precision, often in tight spaces or at high heights. Able to bend, swoop, kneel and stand various amount of time. Having the ability to maintain concentration over long periods of time. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
