Honolulu based company, NyLawn/Rec and Roll, LLC., is looking for short term, potentially long term, dependable, hard workers to join our Maui team, building playgrounds from the ground up, refurbishing older playgrounds, laying synthetic turf, poured rubber surfacing, resilient tiles, shades, sports fields and other recreation related equipment.
Area of current job site locations: Kahului/up country area
Now through January 2025. Full Time Mon-Fri 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Requirements:
Driver's license and reliable means to get to work on time every workday. - REQUIRED
Excellent attendance; punctuality record, reliable - no tolerance
Experience - current/recent years in carpentry, installation, construction.
Experience in concrete, footers, aggregate
Foreman type skills for quick training
Has own tools: impact driver, battery op drill set, misc. hand tools. Maintain and have ready for each job
Fast learner, fast paced, hard worker
Follows specific plans, protocol and pays attention to detail
Ability to anticipate what needs to be done and to proactively take action
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
Typical work day:
Arrive ready to work: 7:00am, prepare for job loading trucks with needed supplies, etc.
On Site: Prepping can include digging, excavating, aggregate, etc.
Installation: Concrete footers, aggregate, turf, playground structure, concrete work,, etc.
Finish: Clean up, client communications, organize and prepare for the next day/project, etc.
Prevailing wage jobs rate apply, labor II
PW EQ Laborer hours: $48/hr and $70/hr for overtime.
