Solar Project Manager
Requirements:
This individual will manage commercial solar installations and other construction, provide oversight of installations, contribute to the training and building construction crews and other duties as part of a dynamic project management team. This individual will participate in streamlining processes from project development to construction.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5-years experience related to construction management / designing and installing commercial solar electric systems.
Extensive experience leading installation teams.
Extensive OSHA training is a must.
NABCEP certification is required.
LEED certification is desirable.
Experience developing processes, leading organizations/teams, and training installers. Supervisory or Management experience with excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with photovoltaic technologies, manufacturers, and suppliers. Experience with electrical wiring in commercial applications.
Experience with photovoltaic system designs and AC and DC electrical systems. Experience in construction management.
Knowledge of NEC Code, Universal and local Building Codes. Experience securing permits and working with building inspectors. Basic PC and Windows skills.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Mgmt or Electrical Engineering preferred.
Computer Knowledge Requirements:
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook required.
Knowledge of CAD, and CRM systems, as a sales management planning tool.
