Refrigeration Technician
Looking for experienced Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our team. The technician role is primarily responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. We specialize in the engineering, design, installation, and service of industrial ammonia and freon refrigeration and air conditioning.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, trouble shoot, repair and calibrate industrial refrigeration units
Perform preventative maintenance
Observe additional maintenance needs requiring attention and report those to estimating dept.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Demonstrated strong customer service skills, ability to proactively address customer issues and concerns
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Technician
Requires 4-year apprenticeship program or technical schooling.
Must possess EPA certificate.
Be willing to join the union and test.
Demonstrate current knowledge of maintenance practices and concepts.
Have the ability to resolve complex issues that require analysis, evaluation, and interpretation.
Must be able to move / lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders and work at various heights.
Strong interpersonal skills and good customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Have the ability to multi-task, be organized, attention to detail, be dependable, and be a team player.
