Seeking Industrial Mechanic to do service, repair, sales.

We are seeking a Service & Sales mechanic to oversee and perform all the work in the islands.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

-Providing routine maintenance and repairs to Air Compressors, Pumps, and industrial equipment

-Driving to customer shops

-Researching parts and prices from our various manufacturers' websites and brochures

-Providing repair estimates via text, email, and phone

-Sending invoices via email to ensure we are paid

-Sending a lot of emails

-Creating shipping labels online with UPS and Postal service and shipping parts and packages to outer islands

-Ordering parts and inventory from factory

-Every now and then we get requested to fabricate some type of hose assembly. We will buy hoses and special industrial

fittings and fabricate using crimping tools

-Fly to outer islands a few times per year. Rare opportunities to work in remote Pacific Islands (Palau, Kwajalean, Guam, Micronesia)

-Managing our small inventory and keeping our records consistent with our actual physical inventory

Workflow is:

Get call or email requesting service/diagnosing/repair, research the part and price, quote the customer, do the work, send invoice and get paid.

Requirements:

-Must be able to access military bases. No felonies

-Must have drivers license

-Must be computer literate, understand how to send emails, use Microsoft Word, save to PDF

-Comfortable with a computer, this position requires a lot of emails and computer researching.

-25% is mechanic work, the other 75% is administrative quoting, shipping, invoicing.

-Mechanical or electronic skills (Auto, Appliance, HVAC, electronics, engines, motors, Navy ships, Helicopters, etc some type of proven mechanic/ technician experience)

-Trade school, technical school, military is preferred but if you were raised on a farm wrenching that's fine too if you are comfortable with computer work.

-Be resourceful. Find the part, Find the price, Find the solution. (Tech support is available but mainland hours)

- Professional appearance and communication. You are representing the company.

Starting $20/hr+, depending on experience. Work up to $40/hr if you are a rockstar especially on the computer administration. Someone who can work independently and we can trust we would like to advance you quickly.
