We are seeking a self-sufficient worker with residential and small commercial experience. In this customer-facing position, an ideal candidate would communicate well with clients, be task-oriented, provide mentorship for apprentices, and be able to self-manage and manage a team. Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns from clients regarding their installation or electrical systems
Manage service calls to residential customers and small commercial customers to include services such as:
Installation of EV chargers
Installation of fans, light fixtures
Installation of plugs, dimmers, switches, etc
Electrical Panel installation, replacement, and troubleshooting
Troubleshoot and repairs of electrical systems, including identifying and resolving electrical issues.
Perform safety inspections.
Perform electrical wiring and connections for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and regulations.
Conduct site assessments for estimates, job pricing
Time management and ability to maintain to day/week’s client service schedule
Manage and provide mentorship to apprentice(s)
Collaborate with Office Admin and other team members.
Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including documenting equipment serial numbers and warranty information.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety guidelines.
Ability to maintain professional appearance of company vehicle(s) and personal attire
Must have valid Driver's License, in good standing.
Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems preferred.
Valid electrician's license or certification preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience working as an electrician, preferably with a focus on residential and small commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical principles, wiring methods, and electrical codes and regulations.
Experience with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Physical ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - 55.00 per hour, depending on experience level
Job Location: Island-wide Oahu. Main office in Kailua, HI.
Expected hours: Mon - Fri, 35-45 hrs/week.
