Site Superintendent

We are looking for an additional Site Superintendent to join the growing team at White Mountain Builders, Inc. We offer a regular schedule and a healthy work-life balance for our positions.
Job assignments are indoors and outdoors remodeling and building high end custom homes in Waimea on the Big Island. Assignments and locations vary weekly. Our current pay scale is $45 per hour and we offer full medical/dental/vision benefits for each employee.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Use Smartphone application to check daily/weekly job assignments, tasks and overall project plans for each work site you are assigned
-Assist Management Team with project planning and developing site logistics then oversee the details or each project plan on assigned projects
-Review, understand, coordinate, and communicate scope of work, project schedule, project plans including all details, budget, and selection for phases of construction with work site team and trade partners
-Ensure delivery and coordination of all necessary tools, equipment, and materials from vendors or company storage and transport items to work site when necessary
-Requisition and direct deliveries, movements, and locations of job site trash, materials, supplies and equipment
-Ensure all team members follow worksite safety including company COVID protocols
-Formulate reports on daily activities at assigned project work sites and update the project on-line job logs
-Report any incidents, issues or adaptations needed to Management Team
Requirements for this position are:
-Must have significant construction experience including:
-Ability to read and understand architectural plan sets (all disciplines)
-Technical understanding of residential construction including building codes, trade sequencing and best building practices
-Own and maintain your own tools for use at job sites
-Own a reliable vehicle and have a current drivers license, vehicle registration and proof of vehicle insurance (necessary for working at resorts)
-Leadership skills and supervisory experience
-Being team-oriented
-Strong organizational skills
-Capable of problem solving and ability to make appropriate decisions to keep project tasks moving forward according to project schedule and specifications
-Excellent communication skills (timely, responsive, able and willing to communicate both verbally and in writing)
-Work ethic of dependability and honesty
-Always display professionalism and maturity while working with clients, trade partners and team members
-Own and operate a smart phone or tablet used for time clock functions, accessing, and updating project records while at the job sites
-Ability to pass a background check if requested
Preferred skills for additional value in this position are:
-Previous experience with Project Management
-Previous experience dealing with complex detailed projects
-Vehicle able to pull trailers and/or haul lumber and supplies
Position pays $45 per hour.
