We are looking for a delivery driver to join our Distribution Center Team at the Sullivan Family of Companies (SFOC). We are locally owned and have been in business since 1948. Our family of companies include Foodland, Foodland Farms, Kahala Market, Malama Market, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Hawaii and more! We are looking for a responsible, organized and service oriented individual for this position.
The delivery driver’s primary position is to support a variety of deliveries to SFOC stores including but not limited to scheduled routes, unscheduled hot shots, and daily transfers between warehouses. The delivery driver’s goal is to accurately prepare timely deliveries while organizing, loading and unloading products to customers within a specific time frame.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Sitting at the desk or table working on a computer, walking (more than 50% of the time). Vision, hearing, speech and literacy (critical). Lifting, pushing pulling or carrying (less than 25% of the time.) Bending, kneeling, continuously standing, using chemical agents or wearing protective clothing (less than 25% of the time).
All Applicants are required to be able to lift 30-50 lbs, able to consistently stand for duration of shift, able to handle physical repetitive motions and able to work in a hot or cold environment.
This position is a full-time hourly position with excellent benefits.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
Fork-lift Certification preferred or ability to be certified with a fork-lift
TB Clearance required
Must comply with all company policies and requirements including the COVID-19 vaccination policy
