Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills.
This is a full time position Monday thru Friday. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable person.
Duties
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
Drive routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records as required by company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
Demonstrate proficiency and safety in truck driving techniques.
Operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks as needed.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in truck driving.
Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
Experience with load unloading procedures and safety practices.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.

Additional Responsibilities:
Load and unload materials from delivery truck 24' FLTB - 26' Box 16’ box
Ensure customer freight match delivery receipts prior to delivery
Deliver freight to various customer locations
Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance
Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
Must pass drug test and background check
Required Education and Qualifications:
Must have at least 6 months of delivery driving experience
Valid CDL B driver's license required- CDL position/or Type 3/4
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
forklift certification a plus-will train
Current DOT medical card
TWIC card a plus
