Merchandiser / Route Driver
Schedule: M-F 7:00am-4:00pm
Payrate: $20/hr.
Job Description:
This person will be responsible for stocking the shelves with merchandise in a creative and attractive way that will increase sales of product that is delivered to each retail location. Working all back stock and maintaining a good communication with the store and/or Dept. Manager. Taking orders and transmitting them directly to Oahu’s Office in a timely matter. Taking care of all damages and returns for each store. Possibly some other various tasks pertaining to each store.
Job Functions:
- Ensure that each customer received outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and assisting every customer, maintaining outstanding product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
- Keep inventory control on current and future merchandise.
- Strong in attention to detail.
- Showcasing merchandise in different retail locations.
- Building and maintaining attractive displays.
- Rotate and restock shelves at all retail locations
- Take care of all damaged and return merchandise for each retail locations in a timely manner
- Always maintain a strong customer/client relationship
Essential Functions:
- Must be reliable and responsible to get to work on time.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract
- 1-2 yrs. Merchandiser experience needed
- Good communication, organizational and prioritization skills, time management mathematical skills, Inventory, data entry and computer skills may be required
- Regularly lift and /or move objects 10-50lbs. occasionally lift.
- Must be able to spend long hours standing, bending, walking, and stretching.
