Position: Courier/ Delivery Driver
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Location: Honolulu (near Airport)
Start: Immediately
Schedule: Monday-Friday (possible Saturdays)

A freight and express delivery company looking for motivated drivers who can work independently.
Job Description: Area route driver who operates company vehicles, providing great customer service and efficient freight delivery and pick up. Follows all traffic rules and must comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Reports all problems, incidents and accidents immediately to the manager and completes any pre-trip and post-trip documentation required. Maintains a clean and safe work environment and works harmoniously with team members. No experience is required; however, delivery experience is a bonus.
Must meet be able to:
-Deliver and pick up freight from multiple stops daily. Stops will vary from day to day.
-Area route driver with flex options. Same zone/area with some flexing to help others.
-Inspect vehicle and make operational pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks. This includes but is not limited to: vehicle brakes, tires, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, and water supply
-Keeps vehicle exterior and interior clean. Fuels vehicles as needed.
-Stoop, twist, stand, sit, drive for long periods of time.
-Prior knowledge of standard locations and landmarks on Oahu would be helpful.
-Make efficient and timely deliveries to multiple various locations on route.
-Actively participate in training.
-Conform to all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment properly.
-Willingly perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
-Well-groomed appearance and dressed in company uniform for all shifts. (Company uniforms provided)
-Practice and promote good customer relations using professional conduct.
-Attendance, attitude, and flexibility is extremely important.
Requirements
-Must pass a pre-employment and random drug testing.
-Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
-Delivery driver experience preferred.
-Current Hawaii driver’s license in good standing.
-Strong communication and analytical skills.
-Be able to lift, carry, and/or push at least 70 lbs.
-Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.
-Knowledge of local traffic patterns preferred.
-Must pass background check.
