Kailani Tours is seeking an exceptional person to take our business to the next level - somebody that will be recognized as the person that sets everyone up for success. The successful applicant will need to have a desire to learn about our products, our services, and team members. They’ll love the idea of a team that supports our adventure guides and upper management. Logistics, light mechanical, and transportation experience preferred but not mandatory.
They will have an ability to connect with our guests on the phone, assist with reservations, and help set up the next day’s tours for our guides. The successful applicant will above all else have a passion for setting up guests for a great vacation, they must love people, and have a desire to deliver amazing customer service. The perfect fit for this position is someone that can handle the "beehive" of the morning dispatch, packing tour supplies, and running out to swap vehicles if needed. They will relish the challenge of achieving the goals and targets that we set together and sharing in our success. They will love being part of a team that is growing quickly and poised to expand always, in all ways!

POSITION SUMMARY:
● 50% Dispatching and Logistics – You are the key to creating amazing experiences for our guests. Be informed on what the day entails for each guide, each tour, and potential pickup or drop off pitfalls. Check up on vehicles, vehicle inventory, and be prepared to run a van out for a swap and to think on the fly to enable smoothe operations.
● 30% Tour Preparation – Setting everyone up for success means being able to prepare supplies, inventory, and warehouse equipment for streamlined operations. Basic stocking, cleaning, and ordering will be important to operational flow.
● 20% Various Operational or Marketing Duties – No day is the same. Who knows what the day will bring? Some days you might run a vehicle to the repair shop, another you’ll be doing marketing runs to the hotels, and the next you might be setting up for a group at a restaurant. Ready for whatever!
ACTUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
You have an eye for detail, you'll send emails, utilize technology, handle reservations, and be flexible to learn
something new, every day.
Emailing vendors for the next day’s tours, verifying meal choices, and taking notes for guides.
Assisting the Operations Manager with scheduling, managing tour supply inventory, and various clerical duties.
Any other duties as assigned; including but not limited to: assisting with fleet management, warehouse duties not
described above, and limited driving duties that may include van swaps or rescues.
