Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking an enterprising Senior-level software developer of Java-based applications to join a high-performance development team supporting the United States Indo-Pacific Command (HQ USINDOPACOM) J4 Logistics Information Systems (LIS) . The team performs full SDLC including business application analysis, requirement specification, software design, development, testing, maintenance, documentation throughout the software development lifecycle, graphic design, application user support and training, quality assurance and implementation and integration for Logistics Common Operating Picture (LOGCOP) applications on the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet), and the Collaborative Enterprise Regional Information Exchange-Japan (CENTRIX-J). This position requires the a secret clearance, therefore only US citizens can be considered.The LOGCOP is a major initiative within the USINDOPACOM J4 LIS program. It provides a central decision enabling tool at the joint strategic level that merges logistics information from all USINDOPACOM subordinate organizations, to include U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), U.S. Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT), U.S. Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC), Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC), U.S. Forces Japan (USFJ), U.S. Forces Korea (USFK), as well as various Joint Task Forces. It is the foundational effort for achieving the joint logistics imperatives of enabling unity of effort and rapid response through joint visibility and decision support.
Required Skills:
Minimum 7-10 years of Java/J2EE Web Developer experience
Minimum 7-10 years' experience, and in-depth understanding of the software development life cycle
Experience in leading a group of Software Developers/Engineers as a product lead
Experience in Agile software development, knowledgeable of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience in developing and coordinating delivery schedules based on available resources and delivering software projects on-time
Experience with trade off analysis and prioritization of requirements
Experience with Java Application Servers or Open Source Application Servers
Experienced in building multi-tiered applications
Experience with HTML5, XML, Javascript, Spring Framework and CSS
3 or more years SQL, Subversion experience
3 or more years Apache Tomcat experience
Experience with Mapping Services, Cesium or OpenView Map applications
Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft SQL
Experience with IIS, JMybatis and WebFlow
Experience with Eclipse development tools or other IDE
Experience with collaborating and working on diverse project teams from geographically separated locations
Experience ensuring best practices and all relevant security standards are followed
Experience developing delivery schedules for software capabilities in coordination with the Government Program Manager
Experience developing time estimates for each assigned task and ensure overall delivery schedules are met
Experience resolving issues with the Government Program Manager
Experience ensuring the Government Program Manager is aware of task statuses, slippages, and issues
Experience in facilitating and/or conducting meetings to gather the information needed to ensure the design specifications and implementations meet Government standards and business requirements

Experience with development tools ANT & MavenEducation:
BA or BS degree in CS, IT, Information Systems preferred - MCTS, Security+, or Network+ Certifications.
