Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Publications Specialist with experience in the aviation industry. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, formatting, and maintaining technical manuals and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Your work will support the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft and related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and format a variety of aviation technical publications, including maintenance manuals, flight operations manuals.
Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards such as ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and FAA/EASA regulations.
Edit and revise existing manuals to reflect changes in equipment, procedures, or regulatory requirements.
Manage document lifecycle, including version control, updates, and distribution for both print and digital formats.
Maintain consistency in terminology, layout, and formatting across all technical publications.
Support audits and regulatory reviews by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Qualifications:
Experience in technical writing or publications within the aviation or aerospace industry.
Knowledge of aviation documentation standards (ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, etc.) and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA).
Proficiency with authoring and desktop publishing tools (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext, Microsoft Word).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment
