RBTs work with individuals with Autism and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) to reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence and individuality. Our Maui Behavior Analysis Team provides care in our center/clinic, in the home, and/or in the community.How You’ll Make an Impact:

Work directly with clients and follow the established treatment plan

Establish and maintain relationships with clients, families, and pre-school staff

Implement behavior therapy techniques

Document interventions and progress towards goals

Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan

Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the client acquire and maintain skills and to help meet identified goals

Qualifications:

Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT) Certified or the desire to pursue certification (paid for by BAYADA)

Be at least 18 years of age

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities is a plus, but not required
