The Housekeeping Team Leader is a hands-on, energetic leader who keeps daily operations running smoothly. You will motivate and support the housekeeping team, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and step in as the go-to leader when the Manager is away. If you enjoy leading people, solving challenges, and creating a welcoming guest experience, this role is for you!As a Housekeeper Lead, you will be responsible for the following essential duties and responsibilities:Ensure overall cleanliness of guest units and public areas by effectively supervising housekeeping staff, including those assigned to laundry, unit preparation, and cleaning.Coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments to ensure services are delivered efficiently and on time.Train, coach, and support the development of housekeeping staff, and partner with Resort Management to identify and address future training needs.Prepare and maintain housekeeping schedules as directed by Resort Management.Assign and manage daily work responsibilities for housekeeping team members.Prepare maintenance work orders and monitor progress through completion.Serve as a primary resource for housekeeping staff questions and concerns, involving Resort Management as appropriate, including but not limited to employee injuries, leave of absence requests, and company policy clarification.Communicate performance and personnel issues to Resort Management and provide input for annual performance reviews.Manage housekeeping department inventory as directed by the Resort Manager, including tracking and restocking linens, housekeeping supplies, and guest amenities.Respond to guest service requests promptly, professionally, and courteously.Report employee injuries and incidents to Resort Management or Human Resources in a timely manner.Ensure compliance with all applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations.Perform or assist with cleaning and inspection duties as needed.
