Originating from Hokkaidō, Japan, robatayaki reflects the seafaring lifestyle: seasoned fishermen grilling up their fresh catch over the irori, or glowing white coals, served sizzling hot.What you will be doing:Provide unique dining experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.Ensure a positive first impression of the restaurant for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.Distribution and delivery of guest’s food orders out onto the service floor and serving them at their tables to the correct guestMaintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, contents & preparation methods, outlets and hotel services/featuresAssist servers in proper garnishing of all menu items orderedMaintain cleanliness of all chinaware. Monitor quality and consistency of all menu items being servedMaintain clean and orderly condition of the service line station.Daily requisition of all food condiments and to ensure adequate stock levels of all necessary dishware, linen and condiments for daily service operationsTry to remember individual patron’s names and their preferences to extend a personalized serviceEnsure that all food & beverage are served according to service standardPerform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set all tables according to standards and proceduresAssist other Food & Beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when requiredApply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel
