As a Bar Manager, you will strategically lead the Food & Beverage team to take guest satisfaction to the next level.Luana Lounge is an idyllic sunset spot made for intimate celebrations, romantic dates and special gatherings. Fairmont Orchid’s lobby-level lounge features island-inspired, hand-crafted sushi and cocktails with spectacular ocean and resort views. Guests mark another day of rest and relaxation by sipping chilled wine, specialty drinks and indulging in fresh sushi selections and small bites, while enjoying live music nightly.What you will be doing: Directly oversees the team at Luana Lounge and involved with the bar program for Binchotan.Interact positively with customers, promoting hotel facilities and services.  Resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties.Maintain communication with all departments to ensure customer services are met. Develops team spirit and motivation by creating a good working atmosphereEnsure food & beverage par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering and retrieving supplies.Assist in developing and implementing cost saving and profit enhancing measures. Prepares or checks the work schedules, ensuring that they are consistent with activity forecasts,Conducts annual performance appraisals and sets targets for the team.Prepares the training plans in conjunction with the managers under his/her responsibility and follows them upHelps employees improve their skills and provides support for career developmentLive and Breathe Accor Brand and Service StandardsUpon employment, required to fully comply with Fairmont rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel’s facilities.Continuously move throughout the bar and lounge and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food and beverage quality and service standards are met. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipmentEnsure that all safety, health, security and loss control policies and procedures and Government legislation are adhered toFollow Food & Beverage policies, procedures and service standards
